The Iframe Widget allows embedding an element from an external website onto a Wide Narrow Dashboard.
Prerequisite: A prepared HTML of the element you wish to embed.
Add the widget to the Dashboard
- Go to the Dashboard overview page.
- Click on Widgets and then New Widget to create a shared Dashboard Widget.
OR, to create a widget only available for a specific Dashboard:
Click on the More button (three dots) on the Dashboard card and select Manage widgets. - Click the blue Add/New Widget button and select an area to position your widget.
- Click the Iframe tab in the top menu and then the Add button on the Iframe Widget.
Configuring the widget
- Name: Type the name of the widget. The name will be the title of the widget on the Dashboard. Choose a name that clearly explains the widget.
- Content: Paste the HTML code provided by the iframe provider (with the content you want to embed).
- Height: Leave the field empty if the Iframe HTML code includes height. Optionally force the widget to a certain height in pixels. Test and review to make sure the iframe will look as expected.
Recommended height values for Google Trend and Power BI:
- Google Trend: For a Google Trend chart, we recommend a 500-pixel height. Start testing with 500 or 400 and check the result.
- Power BI: For iframes from Power BI, we recommend leaving the height option empty, and in the iframe code provided by Power BI, set width ="100%" height="360"

- Content: Paste the HTML code provided by the iframe provider (with the content you want to embed).
- Press Save. The widget is now available to review on the Dashboard.
User Access:
All Superusers can create and manage Dashboards. Only Dashboard owners can add and manage widgets to a Dashboard.
