The Workspace Post List Widget allows you to display specific posts and post lists from workspaces on a Dashboard. You can use the widget to promote particular workspace summaries and insights to your users on the Dashboard.
Prerequisites
Workspaces used in dashboard widgets must have user access "Open". In the workspace edit mode, select the user access tab and select "open".
Enable the Workspace Post list widget in a Workspace
- Open the workspace you want to add to the Workspace Post List widget and ensure your workspace has posts to display and that the user access is set to "open". To change user access, click the More button on the top right of the workspace page (three dots) and select Edit.
Click the User Access tab, select "open" and Save. - Go to Dashboards and add and configure the Workspace Post List Widget. See the instructions below.
- Go to Workspaces and open the workspace. A Workspace Post List Widget dropzone is now visible to the right. Drag and drop posts and summaries you want to display in the widget.
- To edit the widget and content to display on the dashboard, click the Edit widget button, edit the posts in the widget dropzone, and then click the Save and Close button.
Add the widget
- Go to "Dashboards" and then open the dashboard where you want to add the widget.
- Click on Manage Widgets and then Add Widget. Select an area to position your widget in the drop-down (top, right, or left).
- Click the Workspace tab in the top menu and then click the Add button on the Workspace Post list widget card.
Alternatively, you can click on Go to widgets on the dashboard overview page to create a shared widget.
