You must create a send list and add recipients when distributing newsletters from the Newsletter module. Follow these steps to create a new send list in the Newsletter module:
- Go to Newsletters. Open the Distribution page in your newsletter or click the Send list button at the top of the newsletter page.
- Press the New Send List button and enter the name and description of your send list in the New Send List form. Press Save.
Once you have created your send list, there are three ways to add recipients to the send list:
- By adding existing users to the send list
- By adding new email addresses to the send list
- By importing a list of recipients (email addresses) from a .csv or .xlsx file to your send list.

User Access: Superusers have access to Newsletters and send list administration in the Newsletter module. Only Newsletter owners can connect send lists to their newsletters.
