When creating filters for your feeds in the Source Library in InfoLab, you can use the Source filter category to search and add source names to your filter. This is especially useful if you want information from selected sources.
Create a new feed based on selected sources
- In InfoLab, click the "New feed" and select the "Wide Narrow Source Library" feed.
- On the "Preview and filter" page, select sectors and topics to specify the subject of your feed. Type keywords in the text bar to further specify the feed.
- Scroll down the filter menu to the Source section.
- Click on Source or the arrow to open the Source section and display the search bar.
- Type the source name in the search bar, and press enter for source suggestions to appear as checkboxes.
- Check the sources you want to use. They are now checked on the source list and also displayed as black pillars on top of the post list.
- View the post list to review the result.
- Click Save to update the filter.
Update existing feeds by selecting sources
- In InfoLab, click the Feed name (or the three dots menu and then Edit) to open the feed.
- On the "Preview and filter" page, scroll down the filter menu to the Source section.
- Click on Source or the arrow to open the Source section and display the search bar.
- Type the source name in the search bar, and press enter for source suggestions to appear as checkboxes.
- Check the sources you want to use. They are now checked on the source list and also displayed as black pillars on top of the post list.
- View the post list to review the result.
- Click Save to update the filter.
User Access: Wide Narrow Source Library in InfoLab is available for all Superusers with owner access to Inboxes.
