When you “copy” a Post from one inbox to another, it doesn't make a copy but copies a post reference. The post will remain in your inbox, and the post reference will appear in the other inbox. This works similarly to when a post is added to multiple inboxes via the feed connections.
Post Reference
A post reference means that all changes made to the post will change the post in all locations where the post resides, including Inboxes, Search, and Workspaces. So, if you change the headline and description on a post in your inbox, it will be changed everywhere where the post appears.
You can easily view all changes made to a post using the post History feature. Click the More button on the post and select History.
Note that only when you add a post to a Newsletter or Report does it create a copy that can be edited without changing the original post.
Remove a Post after "copying" it to another Inbox
If you want to remove the post from the inbox after "copying" it to another inbox, use the reject button. The post will stay in your inbox but will disappear from the post list view.
User access: Superusers with Owner or Writer access to Inboxes can move posts between accessible inboxes.
