Depending on the portal settings, the Contribution will be displayed either on the Dashboard and Search or in a contributable Inbox.
If you don't find your contribution in Search, your portal setting probably requires that contributions be sent to inboxes for qualification.
In some portals, all contributions are directed to a specifically designated inbox. In other portals, users can select inbox for the contribution. Contributions sent by email will either end up in a specifically designated inbox or in any other contributable inbox based on alphabetical order.
Users can choose which inbox they want to send their contribution to if the portal setting allows it.
In the Contribution form > Contribute to:
Select Search to show the contribution in Search and dashboard post lists OR select an inbox in the dropdown to send the contribution to an Inbox.
Note that an inbox must have the "Contributable" setting to appear in the drop-down list.
Go to Inboxes > Settings > Edit and check the "Contributable" checkbox.
User access: All users can make contributions. Only superusers have access to Inboxes. Only Superusers with Admin permissions can change the portal settings.
