How do I change Subscription access to a Newsletter?

When creating a new Newsletter series, the newsletter is "open" and subscribable by default.  "Open" and "subscribable" means that the Newsletter is available on the Subscription page when created. Any user can view and subscribe to the Newsletter on the Subscription page.

Newsletter Owners can change the settings to "Not subscribable" or "Closed" if they don't want a newsletter to be available for all users:

1. Navigate to Newsletters and open the newsletter series.

2. Click the settings icon (three dots) at the top right of the page, and then select "Edit newsletter series".

3. Click the Subscription tab and select "Not subscribable" to not allow users to subscribe to the newsletter by themselves. Select "Closed" to only allow selected users to subscribe to the newsletter.

4. Press Save.

User Access: Then Newsletter module is only available for Wide Narrow Superusers. Only Newsletter Owners can change the Subscription access to a newsletter.
