Subscribe to a Saved Search

Wide Narrow offers several ways to subscribe to the content available in the portal.

One way is to create personalized Alerts based on your areas of interest. You can do that by subscribing to a new or saved search in Search.

Prerequisites 

All users can subscribe to saved searches and set up personal alerts on a schedule of their choice.

How to Subscribe to a Search or Saved Search

You can easily save and subscribe to your search in a single step. Simply make a search, and then press the Subscribe button to subscribe to your search results.

You can also select an existing saved search in the saved search drop-down and then press the Subscribe button to subscribe to the saved search.

1. Navigate to Search and then click the Filter button.
2. Select a saved search in the Saved Searches drop-down on top of the post list or perform a search matching your interest using the Filter menu, the free text search bar, or a combination of both.
3. Click the Subscribe button on top of the post list
4. Name your subscription, select the send-out interval, and click Save.

News on your favorite topics will now be sent to you according to the set schedule.

When making a search, a ringing bell icon will indicate if you are subscribing to the search.

How to Unsubscribe to a Search or Saved Search

If you want to unsubscribe from your alert:

1. Click the Subscribe button and select Manage Subscriptions.
2. On the Subscription page, click the Unsubscribe button on your Alert to unsubscribe.

User Access: All users have access to Search and the ability to create and subscribe to personal Alerts based on saved searches.
