Users can contribute to an InfoDesk portal by using the Contribute button or sending an email to the portal. You can also contribute from an embedded Dashboard on another platform.
Contributions are automatically formatted to new posts, including a headline, preamble, date, contributor source, and any attached files, links, videos, and images.
Depending on the portal settings, Contributions will be displayed either on the Dashboard and Search or in a contributable Inbox. If the portal setting allows it, users can choose which inbox they want to send their contributions to.
Selecting the Search option means that your contribution will appear on the post list in the Search module and also on the Dashboard post lists if it includes qualified posts or matching tags from a categorized contribution.
User Access: All users have access to the Contribute features.
