You can contribute to your portal by using the Contribute button or by sending an email to the portal. By doing so, everyone can benefit from shared articles, notes, links, files, videos, and more.
You can use the contribute feature to share files and summarize their content with the help of the AI Copilot. The AI Copilot can quickly provide a summary of the file's content, making it easier for others to understand the information being shared.
How to do step-by-step
The contribute button can be found in the top right corner of the Dashboard and Search pages.
- Click the Contribute button and then Continue to open the Contribute form.
- Enter a headline and then click on Add files.
- With your file uploaded, click the AI Copilot button to the right of the file name.
- The AI Copilot sidebar will now open and start summarizing your file. Let the AI Copilot produce a summary or enter your own instructions to the AI Copilot and then click the Generate button.
- Click the Replace abstract button to replace the original abstract with the AI-generated abstract or, alternatively, the Add to Abstract button to add the AI-generated summary to the original abstract.
- Optionally edit the new abstract.
- Click AI Categorization to leverage AI to automatically add category tags to your post.
- Add Categories manually as well to your contribution to make it searchable by the filter search.
- In the Contribute to drop-down menu, select a destination (an inbox or Search) for the contribution and press Save.
A post with the attached file and a file summary abstract is created as soon as you have clicked Save.
User Access: All users can use the Contribution features.
