Drag and Drop

In Infodesk Posts and Summaries are moved from one place to another by drag-and-drop.

To drag and drop a post or summary, you first move your mouse cursor over it. Then, press and hold down the left mouse button, move the object to the location you desire, and release the mouse button to set it down.

Drop zones are locations where you can drop posts and summaries.

You can activate object drop zones by pinning objects to the menu. Click the pin icon on an object (Inbox, Workspace, Newsletter, Report) tile to activate a drop zone.

Inside Workspaces, Newsletters, Reports, and Benchmarks visible drop zones make it easy to move information and sections between different locations.

Dragging and dropping a Post or Summary from Inboxes or Search to a Workspace, a Newsletter, or a Report make a copy. The original post will always stay intact.
