Inboxes, Workspaces, Newsletters, Reports, Benchmarks, and other objects can be Private, Open, or Closed.
Private means that an object is only visible and available for members.
Open means that an object is visible for all users. Any user can see the object, its members, and the content.
Closed means that an object is visible for all users but only members can see the content. Non-members can request access.
When creating a new object, the object automatically becomes Private.
To change the default setting to Open or Closed (with Workspaces as an example):
- Go to the Workspace Overview page and click the Settings icon (three dots) on the Workspace card.
- Click Edit and then User Access.
- Search users or user groups to add to the Workspace as Owners, Writers, or Readers.
- Select Open or Closed.
- Click Save.
