The Source Library contains Source Packs with categorized information in various sectors and topics. All Source Packs include both sector and topic-specific sources and general sources.
The Souce Packs are developed by our Senior Information Specialists, who combine and categorize a selection of world-leading open sources into ready-to-use Source Packs.
All sources are categorized and monitored according to Sectors, Topics, Perspectives, and Source Types.
For example, an Automotive Source Pack may include Media, Business Media, Research, Scientific Research, Organizations, Policy & Regulations sources, and more.
The Senior Information Specialists are using the IPTC Taxonomy, the global standard body of the news media, as a base for the categorization.
To build and organize a Source Pack, they combine different types of sources. The source Types include:
- Sector or topic-specific: Sources focusing on the selected sectors and topics. These sources are dedicated and focused industry or topic sources with high relevance to the Source Pack objectives.
- Adjacent sectors and topics: Sources focus on sectors/topics that strongly overlap the selected sectors and topics.
- General: Sources not focused on any specific sector or topic or overlapping several sectors and topics. These sources are multi-faceted sources with touchpoints to the Source Pack objectives aiming to fetch outliers and disruptions.
For example, an Automotive Source Pack may include Sector-specific sources like Automotive News and General sources like McKinsey Insights and Reuters.
