Manage Multiple Portals with SSO

Single Sign-On (SSO) enables you to access your InfoDesk portal seamlessly from your intranet without needing a username and password.

Log in to Multiple Portals with SSO

If your organization has multiple portals in InfoDesk, you can log in to all of them with the same SSO account. When a new portal is added, you don't need to create a new account—it will be generated automatically when you visit the portal for the first time.

Switch between Multiple Portals

You can easily switch between multiple portals by using the drop-down located to the far left of the top menu on the portal pages. Simply click the arrow next to the portal name to open the drop-down and select the portal you want to access.

Logging out with Multiple Portals

When you are logging out of one of the portals, you will be logged out of the portal in all tabs you may have opened for that portal.

If you have multiple portals open at the same time in different browsers (for example, Chrome and Firefox), you will only log out from the portal and windows connected to that browser.

 

Good to Know

We recommend that you only have one portal open at a time. To distinguish which portal you are using, you can only log in to one portal per web browser. 

If you are switching portals and have more than one portal open simultaneously in different tabs within the same browser, we will notify you that the portal has been changed and encourage you to press the Reload browser tab button to reload your browser. 

 

If you need to have multiple portals open at the same time, you must use different browsers (for example, Chrome and Firefox) for each portal.
